Condolences
Jackie is my slightly older cousin. When she was probably 16, I remember my dad piercing her ears in our kitchen in Alabama, using a needle, potato and ice cube. I think a lot of laughter was involved, but I never let him do that to me! Love you, Jackie.
Having been across-the-street neighbors of the Edwards for 15+ years, we have many special memories of Jackie and her family. Jackie and I spent much time together—walking while discussing life’s problems, gardening, sharing books and recipes, and buying at auctions and selling our purchases at Victoria Sales. Our families spent time together at the beach during the New Year’s Day holiday. We ate really good food, (Jackie was an excellent cook!), walked on the beach, played cards and games and watched movies and football, especially New Years Day. Jackie and I were good company for each other when our husbands traveled.
When we moved from Puyallup to Port Orchard, Jackie and Pat were our first guests. We were still getting settled and both of them pitched in and helped us the whole weekend. They were probably glad to get home to rest! So many good memories keep Jackie and her family in our thoughts and in our hearts.
