Condolences
I am sorry to ehar of grace's passing. I remember the time I won the prize of a boat trip in your boat in carlinville lake. it was in the Spring and the tres were beautiful and I took pictures of them. I rememebr the field trips in the Field Biology and ecology courses taught bny Dr. Werner. I hope his klegacy continues at Blackburn College. Grace will be well remembered in the meals on Wheels program at Carlinville. The Loveless name is important in the carlinville area. Loveless was the name of a station on the Illinois Terminal railroad, near where Lindell Loveless lives. My cousin Becky Doyle and her husbamnd kenneth Doyle live near there on Hickory Grove farm.
Dr. Werner, My sincere sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your dear wife. 65 years is a testament to your love for and devotion to each other. May God bless you in this time of grief.
I hope to see you at Homecoming this year. It's our 50th and quite a big deal for us.
Sincerely, Kay Meier (your secretary)

Mary, I was sorry to read about your mom's passing. It's difficult to lose a parent, but you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom was such a sweet woman, and your parents were so devoted to each other. I know you will all miss her.
Mary, so sorry to hear of your loss. Parents are so special but I know the memories you made together will give you some comfort. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Mary, I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She was such a lovely lady! I can remember her in so many ways. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the coming days.
Your Mother was the first person I met when I moved to Carlinville in 1969. She came to my door as "the welcome wagon lady". She was a very sweet lady and you have my sincere sympathy. Doris Austwick

Mary & family, my thoughts & prayers are with you all during this time. Your mom was such a special lady. She is in so many of my childhood memories. What a wonderful story she leaves behind. God will be your strength over the days to come.
Mary & Jim,
Very sorry to hear the loss of your mother. Praying God will give you strength in the days ahead and that you will find some measure of comfort in your fond memories of her.
Thinking of all of you so much. Praying for the wonderful memories to bring strength to you now. "Amazing Grace' fits perfectly. What a wonderful lady!
My dear friend was truly "Amazing Grace" as she played so many roles: wife, mom, grandma, Christian, and friend. She had many families who love her dearly: biological, Federated Church, Blackburn College, and Welcome-Wagon Hostess to mention a fear. Bill's devoted care was the marriage vows in action. You will all be in our prayers as you adjust to missing her physical presence and begin to feel her spiritual presence! How blessed we are to know3 we will all be reunited some day!
