Lillie K. Peters
93 of Lincoln, formerly of Girard, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 3, 2015 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, IL.
Lillie was born on February 7, 1922 to Henry and Lillie (Schuetz) Winsel in Brighton, IL. She married Forrest Miller on March 30, 1938 in St. Charles, MO and he preceded her in death on July 4, 1980. Lillie then married Thomas Peters on June 15, 1993 and he passed away on June 4, 1998.
Lillie was a homemaker and a member of the Shipman United Methodist Church.
Lillie is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Neff and Donna (Steve) Blanford both of Lincoln, IL; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands; son, Ronald Miller in September 2014; 1 grandchild, 1 great grandchild and 4 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral Information
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard, IL.
Funeral services will follow on Saturday at 11:00 am at the funeral home in Girard with Rev. John Merreighn officiating.
Burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, rural Girard. Donations Information
