Obituary of Irma J. Fenton

Irma J. Fenton 92, of Chesterfield, passed away Tuesday morning, February 21, 2012 at the Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab Center in Jerseyville, IL. Irma was born in Shipman, Il on December 4, 1919, daughter to Joe and Edna (Kahl) Travers. She graduated from Shipman High School. On August 24, 1939 she married Otis Fenton in St. Charles, MO. and he passed away on February 27, 1984. Irma was a member of Chesterfield Bible Church and was very active in the Chesterfield Community Club serving many funeral dinners. Irma was survived by son - William "Bill" Fenton of Mukilteo, WA; grandchildren; Kim Parks, Kelly Gast, Kristy Varble, Ashley Fenton, Billy Fenton, Ace Fenton, 7 great grandchildren, daughter-in-law; Deanna Fenton of Godfrey, IL and sister; Mary Kahl and husband (Wilbur) of Shipman, IL. Irma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; Robert Otis Fenton 1988, brother; Glenn Travers and sister; Henrietta Hucklebridge. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Chesterfield. Funeral services will be Friday, February 24, 2012, 11:00 AM at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Chesterfield, with Dave Carleson, officiating. Burial will take place in the Chesterfield Cemetery.
